cool conversations I have at work

him: So what else do you do, besides this?
me: Oh I have another job at…
him: No I don’t mean work.
me: Oh. I’m taking a couple classes too, I’m going to be done after…
him: No what do you do when you go home.
me: Well I don’t have a lot of free time but I’m trying to teach myself to play banjo and mandolin?
him: What else…
me: And… guitar?
him: No I mean what do you do FOR FUN.
me: … I, just told you.
him: No ~social life?~
me: Do you mean. Sometimes I go to concerts with some friends.
him: That’s like, what, once a month at most?
me: So? I’m sort of an introvert so like, interacting with people at work all day kind of wears me out, so I’m pretty happy going home and hanging out alone most nights.
AND THEN HE GAVE ME THE ~YOU NEED TO GET OUT MORE~ FACE.

Also, we call him Grilled Cheese because he is 19 and says he has never eaten a grilled cheese sandwich before because that is “poor people food”.
