Is it weird that I love it when he swears.

I really like that the interviewer used plenty of ALL CAPS and italics and even CAPS ITALICS because that is exactly how people talk when they are really passionate or AGITATED about something.

Bean is the cutest name. Why is she named that? It is so great.

It was sort of an accident!  She was a very hyperactive kitten and we started calling her things like coffee bean, java bean, jumping bean.  And she was/is obsessed with green beans, they’re her favorite people food.  Even more than chicken.  So “HERE YOU GO, BEAN-FACE” happened a lot.  And she started responding to Bean, so that’s what it is!

I made the exact same mistake a couple months ago. I buried them in a drawer after ten minutes. Listening to Beirut made me want to weep.

I thought, well, I’ll just donate them to the thrift shop then. But they’re just about bad enough that the thought of someone else naively buying them and having to listen to this makes me feel guilty.

That was my reaction on meeting Bird. 1st time was only for a few seconds at Lollapalooza, so I didn’t have time to ramble. Talked to him again a couple times the next year and had total word vomit (but I did get a hug, so).

“Make sad face, receive bacon” is now probably one of my favorite collections of words.

Haha. I don’t write novels or essays or poems or songs or anything useful. But I am an accomplished writer of collections of three to five words.
